The Sacramento City College Makerspace is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality, immigration status, age, or religion. Sacramento City College does not tolerate harassment of people at our events or space in any form.
The SCC Makerspace is a PG-13 environment, meaning that harassment includes but is not limited to offensive words or actions related to the identities, traits, and characteristics stated above; sexually explicit or realistic images; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events; non-consensual inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention.
Anyone using the Makerspace must also adhere to the SCC Code of Conduct (https://scc.losrios.edu/about-us/our-values/student-rights-and-responsibilities/student-standards-of-conduct), as well as any other campus and Los Rios district policies.
How to Report
If you wish to report any issues in the space, please contact a Makerspace Faculty member.
If you aren’t comfortable with reporting within the Makerspace, you may report to the Dean of Student Intervention at Sacramento City College.
All reports are confidential and will be investigated quickly and fairly and will go through the normal reporting process for the campus as a whole.
